It is of utmost importance nowadays, to have a pet microchipped as a means of identification, many rehomed pets would have found their real owners if this had been done.
Our aim is to provide microchip scanners for those rescuers / sanctuaries who rescue or take in strays and who work independently of those with charitable status. These people use their own funds for their work and therefore are hard pressed to afford such luxuries.
For these people to be able to scan for microchips would ensure that

• much needed time and funds would be saved by cutting out trips to vets / clinics etc., in order to get 'found' animals scanned for a microchip
• It would relieve the pressure on the main rescues who are already overcrowded and understaffed
• Scanning could be carried out at the homes of those who are unable to get to a vet or rescue centre - in return for a small payment towards travel costs.
